OUR STORY

ABOUT RESCUED PAWS
AT ALPINE FOUNDATION

Rescued Paws at Alpine Foundation is a registered non profit corporation that provides a home between homes for displaced dogs in Wheatland County and Strathmore, Alberta; we strive to build positive community-based support dog programs for our dogs and their families to give back to the community.

Rescued Paws at Alpine Foundation is not a typical ‘rescue’ organization. We are proud to be a home, in between homes for dogs that find themselves: displaced; in a home that they don’t fit in well with; or, other special circumstances.

We do not seek to pull dogs from homes or situations, but are more than willing to help other rescues who are committed to this work.

Our Rehoming Mission began in 2017 to help a guest staying in our boarding facility to find a new home that was being displaced and since we have grown substantially. We pride ourselves in being ethical, positive and force free and maintaining animal welfare, and allowing them to live their lives to the fullest.
